This beautiful publication was created for the Conamara Environmental Education and Cultural Centre (CEECC). The Naturalists’s View discusses the role of natural history in present-day Ireland. It was created after a talk in commemoration of Dr. T. Burke given in Renvyle House Hotel, Co Galway in 2008, during Conamara Sea Week.
Two special editions were produced. Printed on recycled paper and board. Specially commissioned nature prints were created by Sabine Springer, tipped in and signed and dated by the artist. Fine illustrations were also provided by the author including examples of plankton from the waters around Connemara.
